Learn how to make friends and food with the weeds in your home “yarden” as we meet and eat some of the abundant wild edibles of the NC Piedmont.
In this enchanting and empowering evening plant walk, we’ll celebrate the harvest time of fall as we wander the fields and woods edge around the Abundance Foundation in search of common weeds to create delicious wild greens pesto together.
In the process we’ll cover identification, safe and ethical gathering, preparation, nutrition, and the joy of foraged food.
Go home with the wisdom and inspiration to supplement your family’s meals with free, nutritious, tasty, and healing wild plants!
